Turn Him Evil

When Harry is only one year old, Bellatrix Lestrange kidnaps him off the Dursley's doorstep. For ten years, the Wizarding World had no idea what had happened to their saviour. Until McGonagall sees the Magic Quill writing out a letter to Mr. H. Potter.

Meanwhile, in the Lestrange Estate, Bellatrix and Rodolphus are accidentally redeeming themselves in the eyes of the fandom; While the Wizarding World has spent the last ten years searching for the Boy Who Lived, they've spent them training him to be the most powerful Death Eater in existence; while also teaching him to be kind and sweet to those who deserve it, not to mention spoiling him rotton.

1. Chapter One

"What do you mean you didn't knock?" Minerva McGonagall stared at Dumbledore, scandalized.

"It's all under control, Minerva." Dumbledore replied calmly.

"Under control?"  McGonagall stared at him in disbelief. "What on earth do you mean, under control? Albus, you left a baby on a doorstep in November. Not to mention the fact that several of the strongest witches and wizards in the world want this particular baby dead. Nothing about this situation is under control! What if someone kidnaps him?"

"Nobody's going to kidnap him, Minerva." Dumbledore said serenely. "Vernon and Petunia will find him safely tomorrow."

Let's just say he was completely wrong.

At that precise moment, Bellatrix Lestrange was wandering down Privet Drive. She'd managed to track Dumbledore there, but had now completely lost him.

"I know he's here!" she hissed. "Or... was here. Where is he?"

As she passed the unassuming Number 4, she heard a rustling. Instantly, her wand was in her hand and she was ready for anything.

Except what she found.

Looking around, she realized that there was a child, wrapped in a blanket, laying on the doorstep to the house. Surprised, she decided to investigate a bit more.

And was caught completely off guard.

Laying on the doorstep to Number 4, completely alone and unprotected, left out in the cold of the November night with only a thin blanket to protect him from the chill, was Harry Potter.

Bellatrix couldn't believe it. After her master had been defeated by this boy, here he was, just handed to her! She could kill him now, and when her master returned, she would be honoured beyond all!

She could take him back to the Lestrange Estate, not attack those Longbottom aurors like she'd been planning to, and raise him herself to be the greatest Death Eater in existence. She'd still be honoured beyond all, but instead of killing the threat, she'd have rewired his mind, making him one of Voldemort's followers.

So Bellatrix scooped the baby up, soothed his muffled cries, and disapparated back to her home to tell her husband.

Never in a million years would anyone have thought that this child could soften her heart, put some sense into her mind, and maybe, just maybe, turn her against Voldemort, and help the Wizarding World destroy him from the inside.

So... what do you think of the idea? Do you think this is plausible, or is this book one of those annoying fanfictions that completely messes up the series and everyone hates? Please tell me!
